NEDT Award Winner:

Mr Bibas Thapa is an English lecturer at Hetauda Campus with an MPhil in English Language Education from Kathmandu University. He is passionate about using ICT and gamification in teaching. He previously taught at Shree Baljagriti Yuwa Barsha Secondary School, Hetauda. In 2022, he participated in the Fulbright Teacher Excellence and Achievement Program in the United States

“I never imagined that my small efforts in teaching and learning would one day be recognized. However, the NEDT honored my contribution in conducting borderless sessions and awarded me. This recognition motivates me to continue striving for excellence and pushing the boundaries of education in the future.”

Runner up – NEDT Award

Mr. Saroj Lamichhane holds a Master’s in Education (M.Ed.) and a Master of Arts (M.A.) in English from Tribhuvan University. With 20 years of professional experience, he has been a secondary-level English language teacher at Banshagopal Secondary School and an educator at Hetauda Campus. Mr. Lamichhane has attended numerous workshops, seminars, and conferences. Furthermore, he has facilitated a range of training sessions and conferences tailored for English language teachers.
